Asian Law Alliance – Legal Services

Asian Law Alliance provides direct legal services, Know Your Rights education and civic participation work for low-income residents and people with limited English proficiency. Its legal services cover immigration (VAWA petitions, visas for victims of crime or trafficking, DACA renewals, lawful permanent residence, citizenship, Temporary Protected Status, and removal defense), domestic violence, public benefits (SSI, Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants, Medi-Cal, CalWORKs and CalFresh), tenant rights (eviction, discrimination and substandard housing), and the Federal Pro Se Program, which provides free legal assistance to self-represented litigants with civil lawsuits in the federal court in San Jose.
