- Who qualifies
- Families with dependent children; you must be a California resident and a U.S. citizen or a qualified non-citizen. CalWORKs generally gives cash aid to adults for 60 months, and children continue to receive cash aid after the 60-month limit.

- Documents that could be needed include proof of identity, birth/citizenship, residency, relationship, Social Security number, immigration status, earned and other income, property, and housing/utility costs; a County Eligibility Worker will let you know if additional documentation is needed (county Apply for public benefits page).
